MiniMoto World Record

#MiniMotoRecord was Mike’s first World Record and his introduction to all things World Record related. Most importantly, it was the actualization of a long held childhood dream, which was to get into that book that he had always read growing up.

The longest journey on a pocketbike (minimoto) is 2,504.77 km (1,556.39 mi) achieved by Sigríður Ýr Unnarsdòttir (Iceland), Michael Reid, and Chris Fabre (both USA) starting in Ohio and ending in New Mexico, USA from 5 – 17 September 2016. Sigríður, Michael, and Chris traveled from Middletown, Ohio to Ruidoso, New Mexico for this attempt.

Project Kick to Lead World Record

Kick Scooter World Record

This was the first World Record under the Wheeling for the World collective. Project Kick to Lead comprised of a diverse group of Seeds of Peace community members, aiming to exemplify the power of cross cultural collaboration as a way to challenge and change the status quo.

Information about this record:

The greatest distance on a kick/push scooter in 24 hours (team) is 2624.03 km (1630.49 miles), and was achieved by ‘Wheeling for the World’, a Seeds of Peace inspired team, in Gorham, Maine, USA, on 17-18 August 2018. Seeds of Peace Campers and counselors from over 8 countries as well as community members from Maine joined forces to break this record.
